Perfect Nail Polish Pairs

Hi guys!

Do you have slight OCD tendencies? Does your life feel more organized and complete when things match? Well you may be a little like me!

While I love having my nails done, I never like having the same colors on both my hands and feet. Life if too short to have only one color polish on at a time, if you ask me! However, I still like coordinated pairs. As I have a minor nail polish problem, I have quite a few colors here at home that I like to use and cycle through.

Here are my favorite nail polish pairs that I love and match regularly!

PINK
I love pink nail polish the most out of all colors. I think there is something inherently feminine about a baby pink manicure. To balance out the daintiness, I nearly always pair it with a bright or hot pink.

RED
A staple for any nail polish wearing woman is a classic red. It is timeless and always looks sophisticated no matter the occasion.

ORANGE
For this summer, orange has been a hit everywhere in the beauty world. I love how pale apricot has become the new baby pink. I like to do the same as with the pinks and balance a pale lady-like apricot with a vibrant hot orange

PUPLE
For me, purple is a seasonal transition color. I love deeper grapes and plums as we work our way into fall and lilacs and lavenders for spring.

BROWN
Sometimes a girl just needs some neutral on her nails and that is when I reach for nudes and browns. It can enhance a tan or give simple subtle color for days when you don’t want a statement on your hands.

BLUE and BLACK
While I’m not a super fan of dark nail polish, there comes a point every winter where I embrace the darkness. To break flat black polish, I like pairing a deep color with a black that has the same undertone. This deep royal blue and blue based black complement each other well
