It’s now officially fall so I’m finally breaking out the ankle boots and scarves. You will now find me practically living in this combination of cognac ankle boots, faux leather moto jacket, and leopard scarf. I managed to wear them Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Needless to say, these are shaping up to be my new fall weekend outfit staples.
Especially this in-between time of year when you need both a jacket and short sleeves, pairing these fall layers with other basics in your wardrobe is key. Like I‘ve mentioned in past posts, a shorter hemline (or shorts) plus your favorite fall add ons, is a great way to get that fall fashion fix while beating both the chill and the heat you’re bound to experience. September is weird like that.

Is this Brenner boot comfortable? I love the low cut of it.
Yes! I wear these all the time. The heel isn’t too high or too low. But I will say to size up 1/2 a size or so if you’re going to be wearing them with thicker socks
