Most Worn of 2018

Happy 2019 everyone! I hope you had a fun time ringing in the new year then a nice relaxing start to the year. I wanted to continue a tradition I’ve been doing on Northwest Blonde for several years now and instead of sharing my personal year in review, I like to share my year in style! These are the pieces of clothing and outfits that I just kept reaching for over and over again.

2018 is a little different than previous years of course since I was pregnant for half of it. Luckily that didn’t really hamper my style until the winter but I still managed to find some winners even with #maternitystyle. So without any further adieu, here are my most worn pieces of 2018!

Crop Flare Jeans
cropped flare jeans - spring style - easy spring outfit - how to wear cropped flare jeans
These pants were a favorite until I was about four months pregnant. A friend gave these to me and I couldn’t believe how much I loved them. Normally distressed anything isn’t for me but these are the perfect blend of high-waisted, flare, crop, and just a little distressed.

Little Red Bag
real life style staples - how to wear crop flare jeans - Celine nano
This was a favorite last year and nothing changed about that in 2018. This little red bag got even more love from me in 2018 as it was one of my go-to travel bags and trekked all over Italy with me!

Wedge Sandals
classic summer sandals - how to pick summer sandals - polka dot skirt outfit - cute summer outfit idea
These sandals were a budget buy that I ended up wearing all throughout the spring and summer. They were just what my closet was needing. A comfortable shoe that was timeless and able to be worn at work and on the weekend and with everything from jeans to dresses and skirts.

Classic Peacoat
fall maternity outfit - nordstrom peacoat under $100 - thread and supply peacoat - Seattle style blog - Northwest Blonde
I learned the hard way that even your coats stop fitting once you get to a certain stage of pregnancy but that just meant that this peacoat came into my life! It’s the perfect coat for Seattle’s mild winters and just the piece to be added to any fall/spring wardrobe. The best part? This coat is under $40 and great quality to boot!

COAT: Nordstrom (did I mention that it’s only $38?!)
Sweater Blazers
The final quarter of the year had me obsessing over these cozy sweater blazers. I received one for my birthday then had to go out and snag it in another color as it is just too good! I wore this camel colored one during the entire month of November.

SWEATER BLAZER: J.Crew
Knit Bodycon Dress
Enchant Seattle review - Northwest Blonde - Seattle style blog
My mom picked up with knit bodycon dress for me during the Zara summer sale for a whooping $10 and it ended up being a favorite for the entire second half of the year. As my pregnant belly grew, this dress was able to accomodate it while staying comfortable.
