Welcome back to the next installment of Taking a Blonde Moment. This is a monthly segment meant to be a more casual and breezy post where I can share things that don’t fit into other blog posts. Articles I’ve read, things I’ve purchased, weekend plans, etc.
We started off our Christmas season with a trip to downtown Seattle to see the holiday light installation. Across from the Westlake Center tree, there is an installation of Christmas lights made in the shape of trees, ornaments, and presents. Teddy had a blast running in and out of the “treehouse”. I think this weekend we are going to check out Snowflake Lane in Bellevue. They aren’t doing the parade this year but there are still lots of lights to see and fake snowfall throughout the night.

- King County Mama has an Instagram post with a list of free Seattle area family-friendly holiday activities. All my Seattle area moms need to be following her account! She shares the best spots for kids from all around the region.
- On December 1st, the LDS Church started its annual #LighttheWorld campaign. Their calendar of daily service prompts is a great way to start brainstorming how to give back to your community this month.
- Blogger Kelly in the City annually does #60daysofplaid and is featuring reader submissions this year. Find some new 2020 friendly plaid pieces here, tag your pictures with #60daysofplaid, and maybe you’ll be featured
- Theo Chocolate is giving virtual chocolate tasting classes. They mail you everything you need ahead of time then do the class via Zoom. I’m doing one on the 19th. You can also give a virtual chocolate tasting as a gift.
