Bronzed Beauty Makeup Look

Hi guys!

Today I’m sharing a favorite makeup look of mine with you today. This is a look based off one Lisa Eldridge did for her Youtube channel a couple months ago. If you haven’t seen any of her video, go check them out here. You can also check out her blog here for pictures of shoots, celebrities, and magazine covers that she has done.

Lisa Eldridge is the reason I know how to do anything with makeup. As my mother only wears lipstick, I never had anyone to teach me the basics of foundation, concealer and the like. When I stubbled upon Lisa Eldridge’s Youtube Channel, it was as if the veil had been lifted from my eyes and I ate up all her videos trying to learn as much as I could about makeup and how to make it work for me.
(As a side note, she also has a really soothing voice that is relaxing to hear while watching her videos)

This look has been a recent favorite of mine and is perfect for spring and summer (or if you just want to pretend that you have returned from a sunny holiday!)

Take a look!

I started this look with my normal base.
Products I Used:
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in 4W4 Rattan
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Brightener
L’Oreal CC Visible Lift Concealer in Light/Medium
Revlon Colorstay Concealer in Light/Mediun
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 004 Sandstorm

For bronzer, I started by dusting it lightly over the cheeks, contour area, brow, temples, and lightly over the nose. I also added some down my neck and jaw line. I also dusted some of the bronzer over my eyelids before putting on my eyeshadow. It is important with any bronzer to use a light hand as you can always add more but it is hard to take it off once you have reached Oompa Loompa levels.
Products I Used: Physicians Formula Bronze Booster in Light/Medium,

To add a little shaping to the eyes, I used a slightly darker brown shadow to deepen the crease and blended it out with my bronzer brush. With my finger, I added a dot of a brighter champagne shade to the center of my lid to brighten up the eyes.
Products I Used: Estee Lauder Pure Color EyeShadow in 35 Cinnamon  and 53 Ginger Drop

To finish up the eyes, I gave my lashes a good curl and a healthy dose of mascara!
Products I Used: Maybelline The Rocket Volum mascara in Black, e.l.f. eyelash curlers

I finished up with some natural looking lip gloss. This look also looks great with a pink lip

Products I  Used: NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Natural

Here is the finished look!
