What I’m Lovin’ – July Favorites (better late than never!)

Hi guys!

Can you believe that we are already in August! Summer is just flying by and a new month means reflecting back on July and thinking about what I’ve been lovin’ recently. I realize it is a little late to be posting favorites but, as they say, better late than never!

I honestly don’t have that many favorites for July. It was a bit of a crazy (stressful and chaotic) month. However, out of all the beauty products that I use regularly these six stand out from among the rest. Also, the seventh favorite of this month is a bit of a strange one.

Check it out!

Dove Oxygen Moisture Root Lift Spray
I talked about this line of hair products in my June Favorites and the love is still strong. I have been using this spray religiously this month and getting great results. For someone with flat fine hair, this spray works miracles by giving my hair body and volume without making it super greasy.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Brightener
This is a rekindled romance. I think that by this point we have all used this concealer, loved the product, and hated the packaging. I pulled this out of the depths of my makeup collection while on the desperate hunt for a concealer not to long ago and remembered why it is loved. I use a tiny bit and bye-bye under eye circles. It brightens and covers like nothing else can, all while treating as well!

Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream for Combination/Oily in Light/Medium
I was told about this product by Casey Holmes from Youtube (find her channel HERE) and boy am I glad she did. This BB Cream is formulated for oily skin so it has a matte-ish finish, medium coverage but can build to full, and doesn’t get super shiny. I also love that a little of this will go a long ways and you get a ton of product in the tube. I apply it with a Real Techniques brush for a flawless finish. Both are mentioned in yesterday’s haul post

Tresemme Volumizing Dry Shampoo
This was an accidental new favorite! I was traveling the past couple months and ran into the drugstore to grab some travel sized products and this was the only dry shampoo option. However…I love it! I never thought that I could find a dry shampoo that rivals Batiste but this Tresemme ties up the race! it gives my hair great volume, has no white cast, and soaks up all my nasty hair oil. ‘Nuf said!

Longchamps Bag
I have been lugging this bag around with me everywhere this past month. It is a simple and classic bag that fits everything I need (and much more). It goes on the plane, in the car, to the pool, and on so many errands. It has been quite the style saver so that I don’t tote around a canvas bag.

Mimi Scholer Mini Tassel Necklace and Earrings
I have been getting onto the statement jewelry train and this pretty much summarizes everything for me. This set by Mimi Scholer is too beautiful for words and always gets compliments. Wore with neutrals, either as a set or separate, they instantly add dimension and stunning color to an outfit.

Not Wearing Makeup
My final favorite for July is actually not wearing makeup. I think that three to four of the seven days of the week, I have totally omitted any and all makeup. My skin has been its normal acne-prone self but I honestly did not care. Big sunglasses hide all sins and the fact that I didn’t even bother with mascara!

What were your favorites for the month of July?
Do you have any amazing plans for the Sunday of Summer (aka August)?
Let me know in the comment!

I’m on ’em all!

Until next time,

Did it help clear up any blemishes? That is what I noticed the most on me.
