This is the basic of any outfit post. Comfortable jeans and a basic shoe along with a sweater for warmth keeps you cozy for a casual weekend look. As the weather gets progressively colder, trade those converse (or flats if you prefer) for an ankle boot that would allow you to wear warmer socks.
Happy Hour
Adding tight black pants or a leather legging can take a knit sweater from day to night. The natural chunkiness of the sweater balances out the tight pants and heels streamline the whole look. Fierce makeup and your done.
Winter Lunch Date
If you have a thinner knit, try wearing it underneath a blazer for a warm wintery lunch date look. It can add some texture into an otherwise smoothed down outfit. It can also add some interest if you have a cable knit in a fun color!
Girly Cutie
Make a knit extra girly with a skirt, tights, and heels. Add some sparkly baubles and bright lips and you are set to go. For extra warmth, try out fleece lined leggings
