Another “How To Wear” post for ya’ today. Today, some ideas on how to style a pencil skirt. I chose to wear a vivid structured hot pink one but any of these looks can work with a less structured/more stretchy (think jersey material) skirt too!

Casual

Start getting more than just office use out of your pencil skirts by dressing it down with your favorite tee and a pair of flats.
Sweatered
Sweater: Forever 21 | Skirt: H&M (similar here) | Shoes: Forever 21 (similar here)
Pair your form fitting skirt with a loose sweater. It helps balance the look for one item to be looser than the other, either top or bottom. For extra pop, go with a complementary color from the skirt or for a more neutral look choose an analogous color
Chambray

Play with textures by wearing a chambray button up rather than a simple cotton one. Tying it Daisy Duke style rather than tucking it in for added interest.
Buttoned Up

Play with patterns to spice up the classic pencil skirt and button up look. With a cute pattern, try untucking the shirt to show it off peek-a-boo style at the hem, cuffs, and collar
