I recently added this duo to my nightly skincare routine and wanted to give you guys the low down on this Vitamin C Moisturizer and Serum duo.

This serum and moisturizer are infused with Vitamin C and are chalk full of other mineral anti-aging goodies to keep skin looking young and healthy for as long as possible. They are both by the brand InstaNatural. InstaNatural is a company that manufactures all their products here in the U.S.A., is committed to not testing on animals, and have high quality products (and great customer service to boot!)
These two products, either together or used separately, are supposed to duke it out with any signs of aging on your skin. Now, I can’t say that I have seen any results from this process as I am only 24 and can’t say that I see any signs of aging on my skin but why not start preventative care now right? All I do is after cleansing my skin at night and using toner, I massage in the serum followed by the moisturizer and let the products work their magic.
Overall, I have been very happy with this serum-moisturizer duo. The both have fresh citrus scents (the serum smells more strongly than the moisturizer), which I love. Through trial and error, I have realized that these two products are better suited to my nighttime routine than for during the day. As I have oily/combo skin type, this moisturizer makes my skin more oily mid-way through the day versus my normal CeraVe AM lotion. It also doesn’t have SPF, which we should all wear daily, even under makeup.
On that note, both products claim that they can be used under makeup however, as I said earlier, I didn’t get the best results doing this. I could see dry skin types having more success wearing this moisturizer under makeup although these products seem to be formulated more as treatments, which work better alone and overnight.
