As much as I would love to be super glamourous and wear high heels everyday, I am a flats girl at heart. I have the basics but am looking forward to building my collection over this Spring and Summer with paris that I will love and wear for years to come.
Here are some of my top flats picks for this Spring/Summer!
T-STRAPS
I can only say good things about all the Seychelles I’ve worn in my day! This company makes great shoes that last forever and, by some miracle, never give me blisters. Literally no break-in period. Their ‘Into Thin Air’ is an adorable twist on a classic flat that everyone should have in their closet. The twist? You can get these flats in silver metallic!
These Halogen ‘Olson’ flats are up next on my To Purchase list! They are inspired by the Valentino Rockstud, which I am obsessed with but my bank account will not allow for. The Halogen flat is slightly better than the Rockstud in my opinion as it straps onto your feet. These come in various solid colors including Blush Pink and also in faux snakeskin.
ATHLETIC
Who doesn’t love this pattern?! These Vans slip-on sneakers are perfect for the casual day or night during spring and the print is perfect for all summer long!
These Vans dupe are currently everywhere I go. I think that the animal print is the last thing people expect to see on slip-on sneakers but it adds so much to a basic weekend look. These ones by Target are a great alternative to the same shoes made by Vans or Steve Madden as you can get them at half the cost.
A classic summer look for all prepsters: Top-Siders boat shoes! I love that they have started coming out with bright summer colors along with the classic tan. These come in bright coral as well as this beautiful mint blue. Sperry Top-siders are a must for spring and summer even is you aren’t spending the day boating around Nantucket
LOAFERS
Warning: I have a love affair with loafers. I think it is because it brings me back to my childhood when I wore nothing but. These BP ‘Birkley’ flats have that grown up look but still give me that inner glee of wearing loafers. If blush pink isn’t your thing, they also come in black and silver metallic.
The Madden Girl ‘Poppyy’ are loafers leaning towards smoking slippers but I am obsessed with this radiant coral color! These flats look perfect for the summer when you want to have some bright shoes to add color and statement to a look.
BALLET FLATS
If you are looking to invest in some flats, one can never go wrong with a pair of classic ballerina flats. These Halogen ‘Gala’ ballerina flats are the classic shape but have a fun leopard print. These can be dressed up or down but will always look lady-like.
Ballet flats meets supreme comfort in these Yosi Samra flats. I am looking forward to getting a pair of these flats as I’ve heard that they also have no break-in period. These FOLDABLE flats can fit in your purse for the after affects of a night out (don’t be the girl leaving the party with no shoes on!) plus they come in nearly every color under the sun.
