This dress totally makes me think of a retro take on the 1960’s. Think Twiggy, Warhol, and Studio 54. I’m kind of obsessed. I wore this dress over the weekend to a fundraiser auction and really want to find a reason to wear it again. I love the modern take on the geometric print that reminds me of go-go dancers.
However the sunnies are more of a modern take on the 1950’s cat eye glasses. Now I’ve never watched Mad Men but something tells me I would adore the costumes.
These sunnies are the ones that I recommended in my Karen Walker Sunglasses Dupes post as a cost conscious alternative to the Karen Walker ‘The Number One’ for the savvy shopper that perhaps doesn’t have the budget for the real deal. I have been wearing them all weekend and getting tons of compliments.
