Sorry for the picture overload but I whittled it down as much as I could! This location was just too pretty though and I had a rough time.
This past week, my mom and I headed to a local park to check out their flower garden situation. Normally this rose garden would be blooming like crazy but for one reason or another none of the flowers were blooming. However we were left with this amazing tunnel with just the vines and leaves of climbing roses. By accident, I was wearing this ancient skirt from Forever 21 and it was too perfect an opportunity for a photo op.
I recently took my spring/summer clothes out of storage and picked through what still fits, is in style, and I’m likely to wear. Everything else that didn’t make the cut is headed to one of two places: consignment shops or donation. Over the next few weeks, my winter wardrobe is likely to receive the same treatment before going into storage.
I love a good closet clean out so I tend to do one every six months or so. It always makes me feel lighter, more organized, and as if my life is free of clutter (although that is totally just an illusion)
