While I was seemingly the only person in the blogosphere that wasn’t interested in the Lilly for Target line, I was interested in the Milly for Kohl’s design collaboration. I think that Milly is similar to Lilly Pulitzer but less preppy. They both have a similar beachy summer fun kind of vibe but I can see why I gravitated towards Milly; it is themed after the Isle of Capri after all!
I looked into the line online not knowing what to expect but ended up loving a ton of the items. They are classy and chic pieces but full of vibrant colors that can work from office formal to weekend casual wear.

Unfortunately (but fortunately for my wallet) there was not a large selection of item in my local Kohl’s store so I ended up only purchasing two items. One is this long floral skirt that was seen on Olivia Palermo at the launch. It can be dressed up formally for office wear or dressed more casually with a denim top, as seen on Olivia.

I also picked up this nautical inspired tee that will go with nearly anything in my wardrobe. The line also has a red version of this tee with the slogan ‘Ciao Bella’ on the front, which I think I prefer over this one.
I thought about purchasing a couple items online but I hesitate as the sizing on these items was slightly off. I found that all the pieces from the line that I tried on were larger than I was expecting and a couple of the dresses fit my frame oddly.

Have you seen the Milly for Kohl’s line in your local store?
What are your favorite pieces?

I love these pieces! The skirt is so fun and the perfect length! I really like both ways you styled it. The graphic tee is too cute! I really need to make my way to Kohl's!
