Another sunny day has me denying fall and winter once again! The inevitable will come, fall is upon us and winter is close behind so I’ve found that embracing a new style or color palette helps soften the blow (and gives a great excuse for more shopping ;)). Recently I’ve been loving deep but still vibrant jewel tones like maroon, emerald, and plum and have been looking for new ways and pieces to incorporate into my looks. This blouse from J.Crew will be getting a lot of wear this winter as it functions as both a staple but also a seasonal transition piece. It dresses down and up easily and always seems to add a bit of depth and dressiness to even the simplest outfit (like today’s look). It also pairs well with neutrals as well as other more vibrant hues. What is your favorite color palette and style for fall and winter? Do you have a technique for embracing the colder months?
