You can take the girl out of prep school but you can never take the prep out of the girl! Once I finished high school, I think I made an oath to swear of varsity sweaters and plaid skirts until the end of time yet here I am sporting those exact things. Admittedly I finished my time in plaid skirts nearly ten years ago but I didn’t even realize that I put together the grown up version of my old alma mater uniform until after I was out and about my day. And you know what? I kind of like it. Prep or preppy dress isn’t really a thing here in the PNW, so it was fun to be dressed up for a day. What does “preppiness” constitute in your neck of the woods? Is it a popular style or no?
