I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend (long weekend for those in the U.S.A). We got our first real taste of winter here in the PNW which had me breaking out warm scarves, boots, and sweaters. I loved pairing this scarf with just about everything I wore to get an extra buffer against the cold air. However, the dilema of every winter is how to still look chic under a heavy duty coat?
What served me well this weekend was pairing my warm winter coat with sleek leather leggings and adding some rich colors. The sleek leggings balance the bulkiness of the puffer coat. I also love wearing my scarf on top of my coat opposed to tucked in to add some color back into my look. People mostly only see your outerwear during the winter so think about different ways you can add color to the outside of your look.
