This was a look I was planning on wearing for NYFW but it was simply too cold. With spring just around the corner, this sort of pairing really appeals to me. It has aspects of both winter and spring together in one look. The light airy blouse is a spring and summer staple while the vest is a rollover piece from winter. Since it’s still too cold to go out with just the blouse, belting the vest as a tunic adds warmth but also incorporates more texture and dimension into the look. I really loved the play of textures and patterns between the blouse, leggings, clutch, and vest.
