It’s the time of year when you leave the house in the morning cold and return in the afternoon sweltering. Dressing in spring time can be a challenge with temperatures that swing wildly throughout the day. The key? Several light layers.
Starting with a thin base layer then add warmth as you move outwards. Think tee+cardigan+scarf or button up+sweater+blazer. This gives you several layers you can easily shed throughout the day without completely changing clothes. Another tip? Start with a breathable cotton base, add one lightweight knit layer (I love this cashmere sweater for layering), then finish with a heavier/bulkiest topper. For this look I was actually wearing a sweater early on in the day but had to leave them out of these pictures. I was way too warm 🙂
