Mother’s Day Gifts Under $50

Mother’s Day is coming up (May 8) so we need to rally together to celebrate all the moms out there! I wanted to share some gift ideas for Mom that are all affordable and under $50. Keep reading to the end for some gift ideas that won’t cost you a dime either

First off is the Mother’s Day staple, jewelry. Who wouldn’t love a new bangle or set of stud earrings? These are timeless pieces that every woman should have, especially these pearl and cz studs. These are also the set of earrings I swear everyone has lost at some point in time so why not gift Mom with a backup set?

Next up is lounge wear. I know that my mother will never replace her own bathrobe or slippers yet they are things that she wears daily. It’s up to me to make sure her toes are toasty and Mother’s Day is a great time to make that happen.

Moms are some of the hardest working people so why not give her a day off with a spa gift. This could range from a gift card to a local massage parlor or at-home spa gifts. Bath salts, candles, and perfume are all great ideas especially if you know her preferred scent. Extra points for coordinating the three in a spa-night set.

If the mothers in your life are more fashion forward think about what stylish pieces she should add to her wardrobe. Bags and shoes are my favorite picks as you don’t have to worry too much about sizing.

Finally if you can’t get her a gift yourself, get the next best thing, A gift card! Whether it’s for Starbucks or Nordstrom, everyone loves picking something out for themselves

As for gifts that don’t cost a dime, keep reading for a few more ideas!

  • Flowers: pick some from your (or her as long as she isn’t looking) garden and create a beautiful bouquet.
  •  Breakfast in bed: a classic Mother’s Day gift that only requires you know how to make pancakes and coffee.
  • A free day: Let her choose exactly what she wants to do the entire day. Shopping and lunch? TV in bed? No dinner duties? Whatever she wants goes!
  • Picnic lunch: pack up all of mom’s favorites and head to a local park for lunch al fresco.
  • Showing that you care: May be cheesy but tell her that you appreciate everything she does for you, even the things that may go unnoticed.

What are you planning for mom? Or what is being planned for you? Share with me in the comments!
