This weekend, aside from being Mother’s Day, is also the Kentucky Derby. One of the few sporting events with a dress code that I can get behind, the Derby ‘requires’ feminine dresses and fabulous hats. This Maggy London floral dress fits the bill perfectly with its fit and flare shape and built in petticoat that helps it keep its flirty shape. I have a fondness for the fit-and-flare shape as it is both extremely feminine and also quite forgiving, hiding any body imperfections I’m concerned about.
