Easy and Stylish Summer Weekend Style

Who else is beyond excited for the weekend? One of my favorite parts of the weekend is getting to shed my work clothes and let some more of my personal style shine through. While many use the weekend to wear comfortable clothes only, I say that you can be comfortable and stylish at the same time. Want great summer style all weekend long? Sweet Shades
Protect your eyes and embrace your #nomakeup weekend face with a pair of your favorite sunglasses. These are obviously a must for any summertime look! I love my ZeroUV glasses that are only $10 and a great option for those wanting the Karen Walker look without the designer price.

Breezy Dress
My staple go to for serious weekend style are easy breezy dresses. You don’t have to worry about matching or colors, just slip it on and go. What could be easier than that? Bonus if you find one with a conversation starting print like this adorable little number from Zara!.

Light Jacket
While it may be summer, that doesn’t honestly mean much in Seattle. When the temperatures are up during the day, you are guaranteed a drop once evening falls so I always carry a lightweight jacket or cardigan with me. A denim jacket is a staple in my summer wardrobe and looks great with everything from dresses to shorts and even with more denim.

Functional Footwear
There is nothing worse in summer than wearing uncomfortable shoes and then getting a blister because of the heat and the friction. I say stick to functional flats (or sandals) but find a pair that you love and that are classic. My cap toe Chanel flats are getting a ton of love since they go with just about any outfit and instantly add some glam.
