Instantly Update Any Outfit in 30 Seconds

30 second outfit update

So you may have opened up today’s post thinking, “Ana Luiza there is no way you can update an outfit in 30 seconds!” Well I’d be more than happy to prove you wrong with this easy peasy style hack.

Not only can you update an outfit in 30 seconds but, if you’re a regular here, then you’ve seen me do this tons of times. It’s as easy as finding a scarf then incorporating it into your outfit.

WHY IS THIS AN INSTANT UPDATE?

Adding a scarf into your look adds new color, pattern, and movement into your outfit within seconds. Especially with all neutral looks or more simple outfits, a scarf adds additional dimension. Something that will catch the eye and make you stand out from the crowd.

HOW TO DO IT

It’s easy to incorporate a scarf into your everyday looks.
The fastest way, and my personal favorite, is to tie a square scarf around the handle of your handbag. You can also tie a scarf around your neck, wear one as a bandana around your head retro style, tie one around your bun/pony tail/braided hairstyle, the options are endless

I tend to think that this outfit update looks best with lighter, smaller scarves but just this past week I tied this scarf on my work tote bag and had people commenting on how it looked (in a good way šŸ˜‰ ). So that just goes to show, you can make this style trick work with just about any scarf!
