3 Ways Girly Girls Can Rock Sneakers

Happy Monday babes! If you are a regular here at Northwest Blonde (thanks girl!) then you know I’m all about that classic feminine style. However that doesn’t mean that I don’t like to try out new trends. Especially trends that include comfort. So when it comes to wearing my new Brooks sneakers, I wanted to find several different ways to wear them also while still rocking my classic feminine style.

Ready to look cute and be comfortable in your kicks? Here are three ways to rock sneakers as a girly girl!

1) Wear a Dress
The easiest way to still feel feminine while wearing sneakers is to slip a dress. Not only will you be cute and comfortable but you’ll be super on trend! A flowing dress with sneakers is a look you can see on the streets of New York and LA.

2) Show Your Shape
Wearing something a little more form fitting is a great option when wearing sneakers. It’s like that Pinterest saying “short enough to remember your a woman but long enough to know your a lady,” showing your figure helps the look be more feminine than sporty. With extra baggy layers and more fabric, it’s easy to get lost so define your waist line!

3) Accessorize!
Just because you’re wearing tennis shoes doesn’t mean you can’t accessorize! Since you’re going a little more sporty with your shoes, add one element that makes you feel feminine. I always love a bold red lip or a fun handbag to insert a little of my feminine side into any look.

And speaking of athleisure, who else is super excited about the Olympics? I’m a huge fan of the Olympics and look forward to watching the games every few years.
