3 Ways to Wear Suede (the Classic Girl Way)

I don’t know if you ladies have noticed but suede is one of the trends that have carried over from last season. It’s here to stay so that means all my classic style ladies and I need to figure out a way to rock this trend in our own stylish way.

Now suede normally means having a 70’s feel to your look but there are ways to appropriate this luxe fabric into a feminine and classic look. Here are three ways to wear suede while staying true to your classic fashion roots!

1) Add it in Accessories

My favorite way to test out a new trend is to add it into my accessories. This way you are able to test drive the trend without splurging on a dress or shoes. Adding a little suede can also help dress down a more formal piece. Here’s how I combined the two:

Today I paired a suede lined cardigan over a classic style staple: the little white dress. This Tart Collection dress is everything classic and chic. 3) A-Line Skirt

If you’re more of a skirt than dress person, try a suede a-line skirt! These skirts are easy to wear with both sweaters and blouses, flats and boots. If you want ultimate versatility, make sure to snag a skirt in a solid neutral color like brown, navy, or black. You can mix and match tops with ease while still rocking the super trendy suede!
