3 Shoe Styles You’ll Want for Spring

Ladies, it’s finally happened! Spring has finally sprung in the Pacific Northwest and I can’t be more excited about it! More sunshine, less rain. More fun outfits, less layers and boots. Which gets us to today’s topic: spring shoes!

If you’re new to Northwest Blonde first off, welcome! Secondly, you should know that I love shoes! So due to winter being never ending and oh so soggy, I’m generally stuck wear the same three pairs of boots over and over and over. Needless to say it really cramps my style (Fashion girl problems, ya’ know!)

The instant the weather permits, my mission is to get as much wear out of my fun spring and summer shoes. Each year, this generally means a couple different day-to-day pairs of shoes depending on the season and what’s trending. This spring there are three pairs of shoes that all the fashion girls (aka you and me) will be wearing. What to know which ones and why they are so great? Just keep reading!

WHAT SHOES DO I NEED FOR SPRING?

This spring there are three types of shoes that will be all over your Insta feed: mules, slingbacks, and loafers. These three styles are going/already are perfect for the season due to their versatility and how there is a pair for everyone.

WHY ARE THESE MUST HAVE SHOES?

These are all three styles that are ideal for the working girl because they come in every heel height from flats to 4inch. Plus, you’re able to find just about any color as well. This makes styling super easy as these shoes can be paired with a dress for work or with jeans for weekend errands. Easy and stylish? Check and check!

Now you might be saying, “Ana Luiza, mules and slingbacks I get but loafers? I thought those went out of style after elementary school?” Umm, Gucci begs to differ! Loafers are having a serious moment right now! And sure, I’m not talking about your typical penny loafers. I’m talking about their stylish, modern, colorful older sister 😉

I love loafers. Especially because living in the NW we are still dealing with rain. I love this skirt though! So cute!
