Happy Monday babes!
Although it’s only Monday, I’m looking back at what I wore on casual Friday at work. I shared my outfit on my Insta-Stories and received a bunch of questions about where I got certain items, so I thought I’d share them here today.
Does your work have casual Fridays? If so, what’s your usual plan around styling your “free day” as I like to call it?
Since it’s the office, I don’t want to go full comfort in athleisure so I normally follow this pattern:
happy colors + hemline + fun shoe
I tend to wear a lot of black and grey on a normal workday, so I always try to incorporate some color into my casual Friday style. This not only makes me feel happier but it also is an easy way to have an outfit that can transition from 9-5 to happy hour without too much trouble.
Hemline is an obvious one. I’m still in a workplace environment so longer hemlines and nothing too plunging or tight even though it’s a free dress day (not that I normally wear those things but it’s still a consideration). Just keep it work wear friendly 😉
Finally, a fun shoe is a must for this shoe lover! This is the way that I like to spice up my casual Friday outfit that can make an outfit both appropriate for work but also transition me into any happy hour plans I might have. I also wanted to let you know that I found an almost exact match for these ankle boots that are under $100! I am obsessed with these booties and always get TONS of compliments on them but they are a little pricey. These are an almost exact match and I’m sure you’ll love them just as much as I do!

One of my favorite looks is a dress layered with a denim jacket. The two just balance one another out so well making it the perfect casual yet still put-together look. Looking fabulous!
