Happy (almost) Fourth of July ladies! For all of you celebrating here in the USA, I hope you’re enjoying a nice long weekend with your loved ones. I’m sadly one of the few who are working today but I’m looking forwards to the festivities tomorrow.
If you saw my post from Friday, I’m all about rocking the red, white, and blue in a classy and not tacky way. Nothing flag print please and thank you; we’re looking to be cute rather than cliche. My easy formula for dressing for the 4th includes all things you probably already have in your wardrobe.
classy 4th of July outfit formula
Start with dark wash denim as your base. I love a skinny jean but you could also wear shorts or a denim skirt.
Add a mostly white top. To make it a dressed up casual look, I picked a shirt that I can wear to work but “dressed” it down by knotting the front.
Finish with a pop of red. This can be your lipstick, shoes, or handbag.
And that’s it! Easy right?
