Weekends are for Denim

If you’ve been a long time reader here on Northwest Blonde, you know about my love hate relationship with denim. (For all of you new to NWBlonde, check out that post here) It’s always a struggle to find solid winner when it comes to jeans but over the years, I’ve found my favorites. Paige is always my number one go-to brand of denim but with a price tag pushing $100 (if you can find them on sale but more about that on Wednesday…) they aren’t always the best choice for my wallet.

Since I only wear jeans three days out of the week (casual Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) I have been hunting for a great pair of affordable denim and I found them at Old Navy! I honestly never used to shop at Old Navy but in the past few years, their denim selection has started to generate a little buzz that caught my attention.

I’m happy to report that these Rockstar mid-rise jeans are fantastic! And for this price, they can’t be beat!

I almost never wear distressed anything but I like these lighter wash distressed jeans for a more casual weekend vibe. Paired with stripes and camel colored add-on’s, it’s perfectly preppy without being overdone.

What are your favorite affordable denim? I’ve heard good things about Express as well but have never tried them.
