There’s no escaping the fact that I love my high heels! My friends joke whenever they see me in tennis shoes of any kind that it’s a miracle I’m out of my heels. I wear some sort of heel about five days a week (Mon-Thurs, Sunday) and love (almost) every minute of it. The secret is finding heels that you can actually walk around in, so go ahead and strike out any Louboutin’s from the list.

I somewhat recently discovered the most comfortable pair of heels that I can actually wear all day long. Meet the Madison 12-Hour Pumps from Banana Republic

Yes, the most comfortable pair of high heels I own are from the Banana Republic (and I bought my pair second hand!) Their Madison 12-Hour Pumps are insanely comfortable due to two main reasons. First, they aren’t a super high heel. Just a solid three-inch stiletto that isn’t so skinny you feel like you’re balancing on toothpicks and is short enough that you can still walk without teetering. The second reason these heels are so comfortable is due to the insole. Get this, they inject memory foam into the pad of the insole to ensure maximum comfort! You feel as if you’re walking on pillows as soon as you slip a pair of these shoes on. It’s pretty wild.

Now, why are they great heels for work and play? Namely, because they come in so many fun colors. I obviously own the Madison 12-Hour pump in emerald green suede but right now you can get them in red, yellow, bright blue, and GINGHAM! That is along with all your standard black and beige. Who doesn’t want their “fun shoes” to also be incredibly comfortable? It greatly increases the odds that you’ll actually wear them instead of just on date nights and only walking to and from the car (sound familiar?;).
