Since we’re getting darn close to summer, this will be the final installment of Spring Style Essentials for 2018. Today we’ll be talking all about light jeans more specifically, pastel-colored denim. While bold vivid colored jeans were in style about five years ago, now pastel denim is all the rage.
Why pastel jeans?
Well, it’s pretty basic. It’s just a feminine spring twist on a traditional denim look. We all have countless pairs of blue denim, possibly even white jeans for summer. Now with pastel jeans, you have another spring and summer option when it comes to your denim.
How Do You Style Pastel Denim?
Well, I personally have several pairs of pink jeans (because one pair just isn’t enough). I treat them like any other pair of colored pants. Pair your light denim with other spring favorites: white tops, chambray, gingham, black and white stripes.
If you don’t want to draw attention to your lower half, consider swapping out your traditional denim jacket for a colorful denim option. Likewise, you can also wear light or colored chambray instead of the regular blue version.
