Fourth of July Outfit for Work

We are stepping into 4th of July week and I’m still shocked that we are already in July. It’s true what people say that time starts to fly the older you get. I mean, honestly where did this year go?

Regardless, here we are with a mid-week holiday. At work, that means that half the office will be taking time off and therefore our dress code relaxes a bit. That further means I can take some red, white, and blue spirited outfits into the office. I mean, how do they expect me to completely ignore a holiday that includes dressing on a theme.

While I don’t advocate for wearing anything flag printed (we can do better), I love finding chic and non-cheesy ways to wear red, white, and blue for the Fourth of July. This red shirtdress is a perfect item for the holiday as it packs a serious punch and is office casual appropriate. The scarf tied onto my work handbag adds a little blue and white to the party.
