Happy Halloween 2018

exterior Halloween decor - Seattle style blog - Northwest Blonde

Happy Halloween gang! I hope you have a spooktacular day with plenty of fun treats. For me this means at work each department and team dresses up for our Halloween costume contest then a potluck lunch with the whole buying office. There will be treats galore! We are officially in that time of year, treat-tastic time (aka the time from Halloween through the holidays when every office is full of sweets, baked goods, and candy 24/7).

The mid-week holidays tend to be very low key in our household since, ya know, my husband and I both work full time and have to get up at 5:30 am. An early bedtime certainly does cut out some of the fun for a Wednesday night holiday. I did have a Halloween appetizer party with some girlfriends on Tuesday night, so that counts for something.

Side note: this is not our house pictured above. My girlfriends and I were out getting coffee (or apple cider for this girl) and we stumbled across this house and it was DECKED OUT. Each side of the house had a different Halloweeny theme. Witches on one side, ghosts on the other, a variety of lights, pumpkins, and skeletons all over the place. It was pretty wild.

I went back through my old Halloween posts and I have a handful of orange and black themed looks if you’re still looking for some festive outfit ideas. Granted Halloween isn’t really my holiday but feel free to check out these blasts from the past.

Are you dressing up today? I’ve got a very low key diamond ring costume for work. If you have little kiddos, what are they dressing up as? (I still can’t really wrap my head around the fact that I’ll be in that category next year) Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,
