Life Lately | December 2018

Yes, we are well and officially in 2019 but I still wanted to share a little behind the scenes with you from our December. The last two months of the year always fly by so quickly that I feel like there wasn’t a moment to catch you all up on what Andrew and I have been doing behind the scenes.

Kicked off the month of December by shooting some blog pictures with these two at Swanson’s Nursery here in Seattle. They have all sorts of activities (Santa, reindeer, etc) throughout the month of December which are geared towards families. Plus we love their breakfast

I finally had to admit that I can’t fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes anymore. Everything either doesn’t even close or is WAY too tight in the tummy.
DRESS: J.Crew Factory (This dress is from last year but this one is a similar cut if not the same pattern) // TIGHTS: Target (I love a good pair of sweater tights in the winter so I can keep wearing my favorite dresses)  // BOOTS: old, similar here (These are fantastic for wet Seattle winters even if they are fairly basic. I still haven’t pulled the trigger on this waterproof pair)

The girls and I went to Enchant Christmas Seattle (thank you Jenn) and admired the lights. I ended up getting so many questions about it, I wrote an entire post on my experience

Another breakfast date with my favorite Seattle bloggers! Megan is always the sweetest and makes sure that this mama has her hot chocolate. We were at a brunch hosted by Jenn and Eliza J

We stayed home for Christmas and New Year’s this year simply because I’m entering the too-pregnant-to-function stage and we are counting the weeks in single digits! But we snapped this picture on Christmas morning to send to our families and Andrew said “the people in the TV commercials never look as rough as we do on their ‘Christmas morning’”. Got to keep it real, right?!

The difference a year makes! Last year I hosted New Year’s brunch and who would have guessed that I’d be 8.5 months pregnant within the year.

Toasting the New Year with a little Martinelli’s. Please note my very cool hat 😉

Are you still feeling like you’re trying to get started this year or did you hit the ground running? I’m in the first camp and only just now feel like I’m starting to hit my stride for 2019. Let me know which group you’re in in the comments!

Until next time,
Ana Luiza
