Headbands are BACK!

j.crew-headbands are back - best amazon headbands

Another quick post today. Sorry for the cut and dried posts two days in a row but yesterday Andrew surprised me with an early birthday present, which involved him working from home to watch Teddy while I was bundled off for a spa day. It was such a fun surprise and an amazingly relaxing day but that just means that I’m playing catch up a little bit today. If you ever need someone to plan a good surprise, Andrew’s your guy! Some of my past birthdays have included surprise parties and surprise trips; he’s really good at this obviously.

But anyways onto headbands.

Headbands are back and I for one am here for it! This was a whole vibe during my high school years. Not to mention that I went to prep school so it was a very Gossip Girl. Plaid skirts, button-ups, sweater vests, knee highs, and ties, the whole works but that’s besides the point. I personally like that headbands come back with a little twist. Literally, most headbands you see today have a knot right at the crown. I’ve found that the super over the top ones aren’t my taste as they make me look like I have a growth at the top of my head however most stores are carrying sedate (if you can call it that) ones that aren’t super over the top.

I have been wearing this one from Target for several weeks now and so far so good. It’s simple and basic for every day but it doesn’t squeeze my brains too much. I’m looking forward to getting this one for the holidays (I mean, it’s perfect) and I also really like this one as another everyday option.

I know that most people have been flocking to Amazon for headbands because they are just so dang affordable. I can’t speak to the quality but they do have a bunch of nice-looking options. Just make sure to check dimensions and reviews before ‘adding to cart’. I’ve included a couple of options that I liked below. Just click on the image below to head to the retailers’ site.

Are you on-board with the headbands trend? Let me know in the comments!
