Things I Own & Recommend as Gifts

One // Two // Three // Four // Five // Six // Seven // Eight // Nine // Ten // Eleven // Twelve // Thirteen //Fourteen // Fifteen // Sixteen // Seventeen// Eighteen

As the title of this gift guide states, these are things that I (or people in my immediate circle in a couple of cases) own, use, and love. I think that they would all make great gifts to either give or receive as many of them I did receive as a gift.

You’ll find some clothing, some electronics, some home items, some beauty products. It’s really a little bit of everything and it’s in no particular order.

Hope this helps you with your holiday shopping. Don’t forget that there are more gift guides in the NW Blonde Holiday Shop!

Things I Own and Recommend As Gifts

1.Ugg Boots and Slippers

These are the best slippers ever! I love the short Uggs since they keep my feet AND ankles toasty all winter long. I’ve been wearing them a ton this year with all the time we are spending at home.

2. Revlon Volumizing Hair Dryer

The best two-in-one hair dryer out there. I’ve been singing its praises for years now. I never use my regular hair dryer anymore because this gives me a blowout in under 10 minutes without ever reaching for a round brush.

3. Breville Espresso Machine

Ok so technically, my parents own this one but they love it and have nothing bad to say about it. Andrew also likes it and makes espresso any time he goes over to my parents’ house. We’ve talked about getting one for us on and off over the past few years but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
If you want a smaller and cheaper version of the same machine, Breville makes a smaller model you can find here

4. Dyson Cordless Vacuum

This is probably my most used and favorite home appliance. It just makes keeping my home clean that much easier. We had a robot vacuum but had so many problems with it that we returned it and got the Dyson instead. Best decision ever!
If you want to save a little bit on money, look in the refurbished section of Dyson’s website.

5. Instant Pot

I love my Instant Pot even more now that I’m a mom. It makes rice in 3 minutes, beans in 30, and so much more! Homemade risotto without having to slave over the stove? Yes, please! I use mine almost every day for super quick dinners and sides

6. Patagonia Better Sweater

I gave this sweater to my mom a couple of years ago and I see that she regularly wears it. I’m so happy that they brought it back again for this holiday season as it’s a cold-weather staple that you’ll be wearing for years. It’s on the pricier side but you know that Patagonia makes their products to last a lifetime

7. Yeti Mug and Tumbler

I got one of these for Andrew for his birthday last year and it’s totally worth the money! It keeps coffee piping hot for hours. He loves the mug version but I prefer the tumbler because it fits into standard cup holders.

8. J.Crew Stewart Plaid Scarf

This plaid scarf would be a great stocking stuffer. It’s warm and seasonal for men and women. You can also get it monogrammed!

9. Commando Faux Leather Leggings

These faux leather leggings are a great buy for Christmas since you can then wear them for New Year’s Eve! I like these especially in the winter months because they look and feel more like real leather but also keep you warmer than other brands of faux leather leggings.

10. Sunlight Alarm Clock

Andrew has one of these and loves it. Especially in the winter when it tends to be dark and grey at all hours, this sunlight alarm clock makes waking up slightly less jarring.

11. Longchamps Tote Bag

This has been in my wardrobe for almost 10 years! It’s a preppy staple that transitions well for all stages of life. I used it as a handbag, book bag, diaper bag, and travel carry-on.

12. Beautycounter Overnight Mask

Beautycounter had a bunch of amazing gift sets on sale but this one is my favorite. The Beautycounter Overnight Resurfacing Mask has been totally game changing for me. I can always tell a difference in the smoothness of my skin and a blurring of minor imperfections the morning after I use it. The best part is I don’t get any irritation from it since it’s a clean skincare product.

13. J.Crew Cashmere Sweater (women & men’s)

J.Crew makes some great and affordable cashmere sweaters, especially for men. These are Andrew’s go-to’s in the winter months because J.Crew is one of few retailers that make tall narrow sizes that fit his shape.

14. Kindle Paperwhite

Perfect for the bookworm who wants to carry all their favorite books with them no matter where they go. I got one for both my dad (upgrading his) and Andrew for their birthday’s this year, then Andrew got me one too. We all love the new Paperwhite version, which you can pay an additional $20 to have all the ads removed.

15. Apple Airpods

Andrew got me a set of Airpods for my birthday and I LOVE them! I’m probably the last person on the Airpods train but if you have an iPhone, get a pair of these and it will change the game! As newer models are released, the older versions get cheaper and cheaper.

16. Hunter Boots

Hunter boots make great gifts because they are a little bit on the pricy side so you can really wow someone on Christmas morning. I have an in-depth Hunter boots review here if you need tips on styles and sizing.

17. Heated Neck and Back Massager

My mother-in-law has one of these and I indulge in it every time we are visiting their house. It’s a massager that also heats up so you can get ultimate relaxation while sitting in bed or on the couch. A warm shoulder massage whenever you want it without having to bribe your husband, what’s not to like?!

18. T3 Curling Iron

This is the curling iron that I received as a Christmas gift last year. It’s really nice and works on both long and short hair. I know a lot of people talk about this curling iron but it lives up to the hype.
