I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day celebrating the mother figure in your life! My mom and I spent the morning running errands together then after a tasty brunch spent some time with friends on this beautiful beach front.
After the summer weather we had on Saturday, I ventured into my summer clothes bin and pulled out this favorite little number. I have several different dresses similar to this one because they are just so gosh darn perfect for summer time. Easily dressed up or down with sneakers, converse, flats, sandals, or wedges, you name it this dress goes with it. I highly recommend that everyone have a simple summer dress in their wardrobe.
If you are worried about stripes making you look wider either opt for a solid color dress, which always looks chic, or make sure that the stripes are both thick and thin with the lighter color being the thinner stripe. Make sense? Take a look at my dress. The white stripes are thinner than the red ones.
You can dress this simple summer dress an infinite number of ways. Try adding a belt or a jacket to change it up or simply wear it plain for a classic chic look.
