I never felt that great about my body (aka booty and thighs) in shorts until fairly recently. Since that point, I have been going all out with shorts. These leather ones are not quite the latest editions seeing as I bought them on super sale during the winter Red Tag sale at Nordstrom Rack but they are one of the most versatile pair of shorts that I own. Keep watch out for these leather shorts because I think they are going to be on repeat this summer (with maybe a special post on them coming soon ;))
This look dresses up these simple black shorts to a look that could easily translate to a night out or a refined happy hour look. Perfect for the summer time, this black and white outfit is chic and simple with just the right amount of feminine softness to counter the hard leather. I fell in love with this top because it perfectly balances the bow in front without looking like something a pirate would wear. Loosing the billowing sleeves for sleeveless makes all the difference.
