Do you guys have that one thing in your wardrobe that you just wear on repeat all the time? I have several. Recently, I’ve been wearing these purple smoking slippers All.The.Time. The latest time was over the weekend with this simple and casual look. Honestly, I can’t get over how gosh darn comfortable they are and with long work hours, I put comfort over (almost) all else.
The key to that incredible staple wardrobe piece tends to be three fold.
1) It matches everything. Who doesn’t want their staple piece to be easily integrated with everything else in their wardrobe? Surprisingly, purple loafers go well with most of my work and leisure wardrobe, therefore are a favorite and worn often. Plus it adds my signature pop of color 😉
2) It is easy and comfy. In a rush? That staple piece is easily slipped on and guaranteed to not produce blisters after a day of running around non-stop. I add extra insoles for added comfort
3) It makes you feel great. Without any necessary added thinking, that staple piece will always make you feel good about your body/self/mind, add some pep in your step, and help you take on the world. Purple loafers will always make me feel like I’m killing it no matter what my hair looks like or whether or not I’m bloated and having a ‘fat’ day.
Long live the purple loafers and all those wardrobe staples out there!
