The height of summer and you want me to wear a long dress? Yes! This week is all about the maxi dress. Some love it, some hate it, I’ve learned how to wear it. Normally I feel as if maxi dresses overwhelm my petite frame and have learned that a just below the knee or right above the ankle bone works best to add length to my figure.
Here I’ve added a nude pair of flats to add some instant length to my legs and a chambray over top to a little something extra. I seriously love the comfort of this Leith dress but it can come off as a little plain-jane so a topper and great accessories are a must!

I never knew that below the knee was considered a maxi. I’ve always thought it was to your feet. I’ve always preferred dresses that come to below the knee, it is my favorite length. I think it’s the most flattering.
I don’t think that it really is but yah know…I don’t actually have a maxi because, like you, it’s not the best length on me. I also find that below the knee to be the most flattering on my figure. Thanks for reading Kim!
I am SO obsessed with maxi dresses and skirts right now, they are so cool (in every sense) and they are so helpful in keeping me cool in the Las Vegas summer heat!
