Emerald Green | Holiday Style

classic outfit perfect for an office party - holiday party look - office party look - fall fashion - winter fashionHoliday party season is in full swing and I find myself in need of more and more dressed up casual looks. While yes, sequin skirts are all kinds of fun, they just don’t make for the best look at a office holiday party, cookie swap, or family gatherings. A dressed up denim however makes for the perfect base to any causal holiday outfit. By adding more luxurious fabrics like silk and some great statement accessories, you can elevate your look while still having that glam dressed up feel sans sequins

For a slightly more dressed up look suitable for an office holiday party, layering pieces is key. By adding a third piece on top of a shirt, you can take a look from casual to business casual. Need even more formality? Add a structured trouser or pencil skirt with a great pair of pumps.

What is your casual holiday party look?

  1. Even though I normally love sparkles for the holidays, I love how your outfit crafted a casual and classic look. The jacket is great to bring into this look to add a level of sophistication!

Thanks Brooke! I love the glitz and glam of the season as well but I think we all have to admit they aren’t ideal for every occasion. With some statement pieces you can still get that feel though without the sequins!

  3. Super cute outfit! I love your casual classy holiday style. That jacket serves sophistication, while that chain necklace gives the street cred it needs to not be TOO posh. Love love love.
