How to maintain blonde hair between salon visits

I’ve been a bottle blonde off and on for about five years now and it’s been a roller coaster ride. Between salon visits every six weeks, special shampoos, and constant deep conditioning, it can be quite a handful to maintain sunshine locks. However on my last visit to Target I picked up some new products that have changed all of that!

I want to introduce you to John Frieda Sheer Blonde® Go Blonder In-Shower Lightening Treatment. The use of this one product along with the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Shampoo and Conditioner has changed up my hair situation for good. Just as it says in the name, these products help you lighten up your hair with every use. Nothing scary, like a box dye, just some gentle gradual lightening every time you step into the shower so we can all have that summer sun kissed hair from the dead of winter through the entire year.

The In-Shower Lightening Treatment is the best for softening the look of my grown out roots without the damage of normal bleaches and dyes. Followed by the shampoo and conditioner, I also get the moisture I need into my parched golden locks. And all you need is a single use to see results. For all my bottle blondes, say so long to the salon chair and go longer between visits with this power trio.

On your next visit to Target, make sure to check out the John Frieda display in the beauty aisle. There will be a special endcap display until March 5th so you can easily find all these products right at the entrance to the haircare aisle. And not only are you getting quality product at drugstore prices but right now they are having a special promotion when you buy three John Frieda products, you’ll receive a $5 Target gift card. Like you needed an excuse to go to Target, right?!

John Frieda recently came out with both a lightening and deepening trio for you as well. Definitely make sure to head to Target and test it out. I’m super curious about the deepening treatment.

  4. Wow, what a great product. I haven’t heard of it before. I just started go lighter with my hair. I’ve had 2 salon treatments, but thinking I should try this product too. Does it leave your hair with any kind of brassy undertones?
    Thanks

I didn’t notice any but my hair is fairly light naturally so that may be partially the case. You should start out with the shampoo/conditioner combo since it works more slowly and you can see the gradual change that way.

I’m a red head and I usually go for the runway red from Vidal Sasson. I wonder if the John Frieda will give me a longer lasting colour. Your hair looks amazing btw 🙂
