When Valentine’s Day rolls around, a little red dress is the way to go. Whether you’re headed to work, a dinner date, or a night with your best girls, slipping into your best red frock will have you in the spirit of the holiday, even if it’s just a Hallmark holiday.
If you’re hesitant about wearing such a bold bright color, try adding layers of neutrals to the look. Here I’ve added black tights and pumps, both for warmth and to elongate the legs, and I’ve left the accessories neutral as well and bundled up from the cold in a warm but also neutral coat. These are a couple ways you can have a bright color be center stage without feeling overwhelmed by the color.
