Rain in the City | NYFW

rainy day outfit - New York City - NYFWFebruary in the Big Apple means getting all the weather. Single digit temperatures, snow, ice, rain, and freezing rain makes dressing for fashion week a little difficult. These leather leggings were the perfect final layering piece that I wore off and on all week. What you’re not seeing is the skiing base layer that the leggings are hiding! Don’t tell. It will be our little secret 😉

In other NYFW news, I teamed up with the TRESemme team to create this incredible mess of braids to keep my hair looking great even given the weather. Stylist Alex created these geometric snake braids that ended in a fishtail braided bun. I’ll be recreating some of the hair looks they created on me this week (check out my Instagram and Facebook for more pictures) and will do my best to share how this one was done for all you ambitious ladies out there.
