One of the staples in everyones wardrobe is denim. We all have the great pair of jeans that we love to wear and fit just right. Well there should be two more pieces of denim you’ll want to add in to supplement your denim collection: white jeans and a denim jacket.
Nothing screams summer is here like a crisp pair of white denim. While you may want to pass on the tomato sauce while wearing them, white jeans are the perfect summertime replacement for your favorite pair. If you are concerned about the revealing and occasionally unforgiving nature of white bottoms, start by finding the light shade of your favorite pair (these are mine). You may find that shape and fit forgives just like that holy grail pair of denim you love.
The second piece you’ll need this summer to supplement your wardrobe is a denim jacket. Not only is a blue denim jacket a wardrobe staple, it is one of the perfect layering piece in the warmer months. Get more use out of your fancier dresses by tossing on a denim jacket topper for date night or girls night. This is the one piece you’ll be wearing over and over again this summer as it goes with practically anything!

Great outfit and that top is so very pretty! I had a really difficult time finding white jeans that I liked. Finally, I tried on cream colored jeans and they were so much better for me! Once I made that purchase, however, I did find the perfect white distressed skinny jeans. So now I have both. But you can never have too many pairs of jeans, in my opinion!

See…I love this outfit because of the feminine yet masculine items. To me, the denim jacket counteracts the ruffles enough that it looks perfect!
