The Knits You Need for a Cozy Weekend

I consider myself something of a knitwear expert. Those of you who know me and have been following for a while know that I love a good knit. In fact, I have about double the amount of knits and sweaters compared to my entire summer wardrobe #realworldSeattle.

While a chunky knit doesn’t generally have a place at the office, it is key to cozy weekend style, especially this time of year. Here are some of the cozy knits you need to add to your weekend wardrobe!

An Oversized Cardigan

What’s better than an oversized cardigan? It’s essentially a blanket that you can wear over just about any outfit for a dressed down, warm look. And these oversized knits aren’t just for the winter! You can wear this wardrobe staple year round for added warmth and overall comfort whenever a knit hug is needed.

Chunky Turtleneck

I’ve already gone on and on and on and on at length about why I love turtleneck sweaters so much. Not the Steve Jobs variety (although those also have their time and place) but the oversized kind. The kind of turtleneck that is perfectly paired with skinny jeans or even leggings for a lazy day at home.

Anything Cashmere Blend

If you’re not into the oversized knits like I am but still want your warm and cozy weekend fix, make sure to look for anything with a cashmere blend. You’ve seen me wear these sweaters constantly here on the blog and on social media but there is a reason why! It adds so much more softness and warmth without all the bulkiness of a traditional knit. Plus these sweaters are always on sale and SO reasonably priced that I have pretty much all the colors.
