3 Things You Need To Survive The Rest of Winter

3 things you need to survive winter - gucci loafer alternative - givenchy bag

Well babes, I have some bad news for you. We are in the icky rough stretch of winter.
While the fun and excitement of the holidays are over, sadly the weather is still gross and layers are still a must. So what’s a girl to do? Well, I’ve got a couple ideas that will have you relishing the last bit of winter we’ve got coming our way.

1. SNAG A NEW PAIR OF BOOTS (THEY’RE PROBABLY ON SALE!)

By now you’re probably ready to throw your winter boots out the nearest window. While it may be tempting to spend your dollars on some new trends for spring, consider holding out another month or new and instead spring for a new pair of winter boots.

Most stores are trying to clear out all their winter merchandise before the end of March, so expect some really great sales on all the winter gear you’ll still be wearing in a month (or two)

2. FIND DAYS TO TEST RUN SPRING STYLES

While it’s still winter, I’m looking for all the ways I can start getting my spring on! This mainly means that I’m following the weather like a mad woman so I know which days allow me to bust out socks-free flats (hello chilly ankles). This could also mean starting to wear your favorite spring dresses but with a turtleneck underneath or finding a new bright color to incorporate into your wardrobe.

3. SEE THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL

While it’s still winter, we are also starting to see the light of spring. Find one of these signs and hold on tight! For me it’s the little green buds are starting to pop out of the ground and the fact that it’s not dark when I arrive home from work.

What are your tricks for making it through the tail end of winter? Let me know in the comments below!
