20 Ann Taylor Picks for Work and Weekend

Is it just me or has Ann Taylor suddenly stepped up their style game? I started noticing more and more items popping up on my Instagram feed that caught my eye. Low and behold, it’s Ann Taylor! Well when I took the bait and when I started scrolling through their site, I couldn’t believe how many items where I instantly hit “Add to Cart”.

Why have I been totally crushing on Ann Taylor for the past several months? All the pieces I’ve found are super cute without being too trendy (one of the reasons I love J.Crew so much) and are easily styled for both work and the weekend! This has become a sticking point for me over the past few years when I’m looking to purchase some new clothes. I don’t want a closet full of party dresses then a separate one for work clothes and then another one for casual clothes because that is obviously ridiculous. I’m looking for pieces that will be able effortlessly go from my 9-5 into my off hours with a change of shoes or jacket.

Plus for all of you who have a business casual capsule wardrobe like me, each of their collections and new releases all seem to build upon each other which makes shopping within a color scheme or style so much easier. Maybe it’s just that now I’m in my late 20’s and work in a corporate office that I have a better appreciation for Ann Taylor (and Loft) but here are 20 (ok a few more than 20) items that I’m loving (this yellow skirt being one of them!)
