5 Ways to Rock Double Denim

Some call it a Canadian Tuxedo, others call it double denim, but all I know is that I love it. I’ve been wearing double denim for years (see one of my earliest blog posts for cringe-worthy proof) and chucking about it since I hear it mentioned on the list of biggest fashion faux-pas according to E! Television.

Regardless of what E! thinks, double denim can be considered fashion forward when done right. Here are five different ways to rock your double denim!

5 WAYS TO ROCK DOUBLE DENIM

“The Classic”

Just grab your favorite chambray top and pair it with your go-to blue jeans. This is the straightforward way to wear double denim. Turn it into an outfit by pairing the look with neutral accessories and maybe a pop of color. (see the original post here)

The Denim Dress

A denim or chambray dress is a simple way to dip your toe into double denim. With a light colored dress, all you have to do is throw on a denim jacket on top for the full look. Consider this option the double denim “lite”. Most people won’t even notice you’re doing it. (get the outfit details here)

Colored Denim

Another way to fool people into no quite noticing that you’re head to toe denim but still have them loving your look is to swap out your blue jeans for some colored ones. This is a fresh spring option that has been quite popular this season and hopefully will continue all summer long. The Full Throttle

So maybe you already are a double denim regular but want to step it up a notch. Try adding a third layer. This means denim shirt, pants, and a jacket layered on top. With Color
