What I Wore | May 2019

The end of another month means that I’m rounding up some of my outfits from May. Let me know if you’re enjoying this series. Personally, I love seeing this type of post on the blogs that I read. It’s a little more real than a curated blog post with high-res images and you get to see what people really wear during their day-to-day lives.

Hope you all had a great month of May. For me it wasn’t the best but June is looking promising! See you back here on Monday

SWEATER BLAZER: J.Crew  (It’s an all time favorite. I have an entire review on it here. I may or may not have just purchased it in a third color…) // SHIRT: old Target (I’ve had this shirt for years and love it but it looks similar to this one.) // JEANSJ.Jill c/o (These are actually denim leggings but you could never tell by looking at them. They look like skinny jeans and feel like skinny jeans only I’d recommend sizing down. You can read the entire review I wrote on them here.)// SHOES: Madewell (These loafers are insanely comfortable and only took about a day to break in. I’m normally a 7 or 7.5 in shoes and the 7.5 in these loafers fit perfectly) // BAGOld Navy (This bag has held up surprisingly well for the price. If you’re looking for another affordable option that is a little higher quality, I’d try this reversible option)

SWEATSHIRTJ.Crew (I had this sweater on my wishlist for a while and I’m so happy I finally snagged it. J.Crew has a bunch of these cute graphic sweatshirts that are nice for casual days) // SHIRT: old Target (I’ve had this shirt for years and love it but it looks similar to this one.) // JEANSJ.Jill c/o (These are actually denim leggings but you could never tell by looking at them. They look like skinny jeans and feel like skinny jeans only I’d recommend sizing down. You can read the entire review I wrote on them here.) // SHOES: Madewell (These loafers are insanely comfortable and only took about a day to break in. If you’re looking for another affordable option that is a little higher quality, I’d try this reversible option) // SUNGLASSESAmazon (These are some of the only sunglasses I own because for $10 they can’t be beat. Especially by someone notorious for sitting on and breaking sunglasses.

SWEATSHIRTJ.Crew (I had this sweater on my wishlist for a while and I’m so happy I finally snagged it. J.Crew has a bunch of these cute graphic sweatshirts that are nice for casual days) // PANTS: Vineyard Vines (These were my first Vineyard Vines purchase and I couldn’t be happier with them. High waisted, cropped, seersucker, all perfection! I’m thinking about getting them in solid white as well) // SNEAKERSConverse (I don’t often wear sneakers out and about but when I do, it’s normally these Converse. They are just a simple classic shoe that is easy to throw on. I wear US size 6.5 in Converse but I’m normally a 7 or 7.5) // BAG: J.Crew (Totally worth the $8 if you’re like me and carry a tote bag just about everywhere you. It’s a fun alternative to your standard brown or canvas tote)

SHIRTold J.Crew (This is a sweet white tee that I’ve had for several years. They came out with a new version this year with lace sleeves instead of eyelet) // CARDIGAN: J.Crew (I’m having a gingham moment and want all things blue check. This is the Jackie cardigan just in a fun summer print. I have it in solid and in eyelet as well. Perfect for the office!) // JEANSJ.Jill c/o (These are actually denim leggings but you could never tell by looking at them. They look like skinny jeans and feel like skinny jeans only I’d recommend sizing down. You can read the entire review I wrote on them here.) // SHOES: Chloe (These shoes are pricey but are so comfortable since the leather feels like butter on your feet. It’s close to walking barefoot. I got mine secondhand to bring the cost down a little.) // BAGOld Navy (This bag has held up surprisingly well for the price. If you’re looking for another affordable option that is a little higher quality, I’d try this reversible option)

COAT: Pendleton (I’ve had this coat for several years but I rarely wear it. Couldn’t tell you why because it’s fantastic for cold, wet, and windy weather. I highly recommend it!) // SWEATER: old J.Jill c/o (I love a good cable knit sweater and this one doesn’t disappoint. Sadly it’s out of stock. This one looks pretty similar to mine and this one also looks very promising) // JEANSJ.Jill c/o (These are actually denim leggings but you could never tell by looking at them. They look like skinny jeans and feel like skinny jeans only I’d recommend sizing down. You can read the entire review I wrote on them here.) // BOOTS: Hunter (I love these rain boots for wet and stormy weather but I understand that they are pricey. Read my entire review and determine if they are worth the money for you here) // SUNGLASSESAmazon (These are some of the only sunglasses I own because for $10 they can’t be beat. Especially by someone notorious for sitting on and breaking sunglasses.
