Clean Beauty Products Under $50

clean skincare update - how to transition to clean skincare - northwest blonde - seattle style blog
Let’s talk clean beauty for a sec. One of my assumptions about clean beauty products was that it was all really expensive. It just had to be right? I mean it’s like organic produce and that’s more expensive than the regular. But that was before I learned more about clean skincare and, more importantly, before I understood and valued clean skincare.

Now I have a greater understanding of why I should be using clean skincare products AND I value these products but my budget simply doesn’t allow for all high-end expensive products. Just like before when I used mostly drugstore products and a few higher-end brands, I needed to work within my budget to get my desired results. As I’ve transitioned to almost all clean beauty products, those same values hold true. Slowly transitioning to clean products allowed me to do some research to find products that work for me all while fitting into my budget.

So that’s what I wanted to share with you today – all the clean beauty products under $50 that I’ve found so far.

MAKEUP

REN Clean Primer – $45

While I haven’t done much in regards to clean makeup products (it’s the next frontier for me), REN Skincare gifted me this primer to try out. If you haven’t read my review, the long and short is that I loved it. It does its job without any unnecessary bells and whistles. Plus the packaging is both beautiful and recyclable.

BeautyCounter Color Intense Lipstick – $34

A bold clean lip color can be hard to find but BeautyCounter hits it out of the park with these Color Intense lipsticks. I have one in red and it really does pack a color punch while being very moisturizing at the same time.

MOISTURIZERS AND LOTIONS

Honest Beauty Lotions and Body Oil – $15

Three cheers for drugstore clean skincare! Why clean body lotions? Because your skin is your largest organ and needs TLC all over, not just on your face. I love that I can use these lotions on myself and Teddy without having to think or worry.

BeautyCounter Adaptive Moisture Lotion – $49

My favorite face lotion for the past year and a half has to be this BeautyCounter lotion. It balances the moisture that my face needs throughout the day so I never get too dry or too oily. While it is at the top of the range price-wise, one bottle lasts me around six months as I only use it in the morning.

Countercontrol Matte Gel Cream – $39

While I haven’t personally tried this product, my friend Asa swears by it. Perfect for those of you with extra oily skin, it’s a daily moisturizer that creates a matte effect and helps you stay matte throughout the day.

Glow & Go Mini Oils – $34

One way to find higher-end products for less is to opt for the travel size or gift sets. That’s the case for these BeautyCounter facial oils. While one bottle would normally put you back $70, you can test out all three for under $40. This way you aren’t investing a whole lot into a product that you may or may not like.

GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream – $25 or $32

A long-time favorite of mine and, I’ve heard, several of you as well, this eye cream depuffs and helps your eye look awake. You can get it in the travel size for $25 but the full-size product is only $32.

MASKS AND TREATMENTS

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask – $25 or $45

The Summer Friday masks have developed a cult following and a huge amount of hype. I’ve heard good things about this one in particular and am happy to report that it’s an under $50 clean beauty steal! You get either the travel mini sie for $25 or the full-sized product for $48.

Boscia Pore Pudding Wash Off Treatment – $38

I love this face mask for when my skin just needs a little TLC after traveling or a steady few days of a bad diet. It helps minimize pores, control oil, and balance hydration. It’s also just a fun product to use with the two colors swirling together.

Sephora Collection Ultra Glow Serum – $20

This vitamin C serum is new to me and I can’t wait to test it out! I’ve been on the hunt for a vitamin C serum that is clean and not overly expensive. This checks off both of those boxes and is instantly available at your local Sephora!

SUNSCREEN

SuperGoop Mineral Matte SPF 40 – $38

This is a great two-for-one product that will protect you from the sun, help fight oiliness, and act as your makeup primer at the same time. I used it all summer long and loved it both alone or under makeup.

SunBum/ BabyBum Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 – $11

Mineral sunscreen is where it’s at for clean sunscreen and it’s 100% affordable. I found this SunBum clean sunscreen at my local Target and I used it on both myself and my baby all summer long.
